Alleged Theft at the Railway Station

Jno. Goodall, an employé at the Conisboro’ Wagon Works, was on Monday remanded at Doncaster on a charge of stealing a parcel containing a pair of boots, a shirt, and several other articles, of the value of 10s., from a third-class railway carriage at the Conisboro’ Station, on Saturday night.

It is alleged that as soon as the parcel was taken by the prisoner there was an outcry, but as no one appeared to claim the things the prisoner is detained in custody until further information is forthcoming.

It is said that the parcel was left by a passenger who got out of the train at Swinton.
