Denaby and Cadeby United Cricket Club
Annual Ball
The second annual ball in connection with the Denaby and Cadeby United Cricket Club was held in the Rossington Street schools, on Thursday evening week, when a company of between 60 and 70 persons gathered together. The room had been tastefully decorated for the occasion, whilst the duties of M.C.’s were undertaken by Mr. Witty and Mr. Williamson, who were ably assisted by the stewards, Messrs. F. Oley, A. Robinson, G. H. Robinson, W. Wragge, Dr. Forster, Dr. Twigg, and Dr. McClure.
A splendid refreshment table had been provided, the supporters and friends of the club contributing a fine collection of good things. Amongst those present at the ball were the following:

Dancing was kept up until an early hour in the morning, music being supplied by Mr. Moses Soar’s band. Mr. Wray, the secretary, worked hard to promote the success of the event.
