Bad Language

For having used obscene language, Robert Jones, miner, Conisboro’, had to pay 7s. 6d. and 7s. 6d. costs, and Alfred Davis, a fitter, living at the same place, had 5s. and 7s. 6d. costs to find for having used obscene and profane language at Denaby.

John Rayner, a filler, was fined 20s. and the costs.

The following were summoned for having made use of violent and abusive language: Wm. Drabble, collier, 5s. and 7s. 6d. costs; Florence Cockidge, married woman, 7s. 6d. and costs; and Richard Martin, collier, New Conisboro’, 5s. and the costs.

Herbert Jephson, a Denaby miner, was ordered to pay 2s. and the costs for indecent conduct.
