Brothers United

Two brothers serving with the Eighth Army are the sons of Mrs. Jones, of 41, Cliff View, Denaby Main. Although it is a few years since the eldest son, Captain Jim Collingham, joined the Forces he is still remembered in the district.
It is 15 years since he joined the Scots Guards. He is at present an assistant commandant with the Middle East Forces. He has seen service in China, Egypt, and North Africa.
Captain Collingham married a Conisbrough girl with whom he is staying on leave. For the first time she and their sons, Alan and Malcolm, are now in South Africa. He is a regular reader of the South Yorkshire Times.
His younger brother, Pte. Tom Collingham, was employed until enlistment last May in the electricity department offices at Mexborough. He is an old boy of Mexborough Secondary School.
He is serving with the Middle East Forces in the Royal Army Ordnance Corps. He left England last December and has now joined up with his brother.
