Bounce Ball at Denaby.

Wm. Roberts and Simeon Tuft, pony drivers, of Denaby, were summoned for throwing balls to the danger of the public, at Denaby on June 24th.

Defendants did not appear.

P.C. Ransom said that at 3-20 on Friday, the 24th of last month, he was on duty in Cliff View, Denaby, in company with P.C. Horton, where he there saw the defendants with others playing at bounce ball. They watched them for ten minutes, and then went towards them, and afterwards told them that they would be reported. They had had many complaints about that game being played.

Each defendant was fined 10s. and costs.
