Prisoner of War
Mr. W. Burdett, of 177, Tickhill Street, Denaby Main, has received a postcard from his son, Gnr. Kenneth Burdett, who some time ago was reported missing, and then a prisoner of war.
He states that he managed to scrape through, and that he is quite well, and he hopes the day is not far distant when he will see them all again at home.
The last letter they received from him was dated Oct., 1941. Gnr. Burdett was in Hong Kong when it fell to the enemy in Dec., 1941.
