Killed in Tunisia

Mrs. L. Dudhill has now received the official notification of the death of her husband, Bdr. L. Dudhill, and this states that he was killed in action in Southern Tunisia on April 21st by German mortar gunfire.

A letter has also been received from the Staff-Sergeant, who said the boys of the battery had requested him to write conveying their deepest sympathy.

Mrs. Dudhill and his parents and family join in their great loss. He also states that if he is spared to return home again he will make it his duty to see the family of Bdr. Dudhill, because so great was the esteem in which he was held by all the battery.

Bdr. Dudhill was the son of Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Dudhill, 54, Tickhill Street, Denaby Main.
