Abusive Language At Denaby

Fanny Cooper, married, Denaby, was summoned for using abusive language to Urina Hartshill, at Denaby, on the 16th inst.

There were several witnesses for both sides, the evidence being most conflicting, and the Bench dismissed the case.

Persistent Cruelty And Neglect At Denaby

Emma Poxon summoned her husband, James Poxon, miner, Denaby, for persistent cruelty and neglect.

It appeared, however, that since the complainant had taken the summons out against the defendant she had cohabited with him, and the Chairman informed her that she must take out a fresh summons, after which she must leave him until it had been heard.

The case was accordingly dismissed.
