A third wicket stand of 196 by D. Brown (124) and J. Wright (85), helped Denaby to defeat Mexborough by five wickets at Denaby on Monday.
Denaby declared at 255 for five, and Mexborough replied with 75 (C. Wilkinson 18, H. Newey 19, J. Williams 11). Wardle took 6 for 29 for Denaby, and Bayes 4 for 95 for Mexborough.
