Denaby Allotment Garden and Horticultural Society Show
There were about 1,000 exhibits at the ninth annual show organised by Denaby Allotment Garden and Horticultural Society, in Denaby and Cadeby Miners’ Welfare on Saturday. The entries were divided into two classes, 44 of these being for members of the society and 38 being open for the members of the Miners’ Welfare. There was a big increase in the closed section, while the open section showed a decrease. Messrs. E. Lucas and F. Watson (Sheffield) were the judges. The exhibits were well above the standard.
