Warship Week

The chairman of the Service Publicity Committee, Mr J.H. Rawding, reported to last Friday’s meeting of the local Save his Committee that is Committee and their plans well in hand for the warship Week, which begins in the area, on December 6.

In addition, arrangements had been made for the mobile cinema van, which would be available throughout the week, to give shows at various points in the area and the schools. A selling centre will be open in church Street and an official opening ceremony will take place at 11 AM on the Saturday.

Six shops in the area were to state special window displays, the selling centre at Conisbrough and the shop in raising building at Denaby will be utilised for exhibition of photographs of local naval men, and three novel indicators will be provided. Sure in the day-to-day progress of the campaign.
