Unmuzzled Dogs

James Bradbury, farmer, Conisborough was charged with allowing his dog to stray at that place on the 17th February.

Defendant: I think it is two dogs, sir. They were only pups, three months old.

Mr. Baddiley: I have known people to die from the bite of a pup six weeks old.

P.C. Royston said he saw the animals near defendants farm. They were innocent of muzzles, and twenty yard from the street.

20s. and costs

Warde-Aldam was charged with allowing a dog, which was his property, to stray without a muzzle. Defendant, from the bench, said he must apologise.

Mr. Geo. White, in whose charge the dog was, would explain the case, Defendant then left the bench. P.C. Haigh proved the case, and defendant was fined the usual penalty of 20s. and costs-
