Conisbrough School Already Too Small
Built Four Years Ago

Although Conisbrough Rowena infant’s school has been built less than four years ago it is too small to accommodate the large number of infant pupils in the area. On Monday morning, the first day of the summer term, 36 some-year-olds had to be moved to Conisbrough Morley place school annexe (the Hengist Hut near the school).

The Rowena School was originally built to hold 240 infants but they are now well over that number there, not including the children move to Morley Place.

The children are not transferred to Morley place school and are only there temporarily.
