Roman Catholics May Procession.
The showery weather deprived the picturesque annual event much its glamour the annual May procession the Denaby Roman Catholics, yesterday.
The procession the children, pretty attire with veils and floral wreaths, was accompanied by candle bearers and Scouts. They proceeded, with their elders, to the school yard, where a service was held.

Miss Mary Rodgers was crowned May Queen Miss Kitty Roach, last year’s queen, and the queens of the roses, violets and lilies afterwards deposited flowers on improvised altar.
Canon Leteux opened the sale work, on Saturday evening, in the schools, was the second day’s proceedings, the effort being to clear the debt on the schools.
