The work of Messrs. E. T. Hardy and W. Astbury, who resigned the positions of chairman and financial secretary respectively, of the Denaby United football club, has been appreciated by the club and has been placed on record.

Mr. Asthury took part in the negotiations for the transfer of Turner and Rodgers to Hull, Jenkins to Lincoln, and Hill to Wolverhampton.
