Pig Club Closes

Early this year the Conisborough Pig Club, the second oldest in the country, ended its activities.

But Conisborough is not to be without an organisation working to benefit pig -keepers and a new club is in course of formation at the Denaby and Cadeby Miners’ Welfare Institute.

Mr. A. Roberts has been elected president, Mr. A. Welling’ treasurer, and Mr. J. R. Menton secretary.

All miners and associate members of the Institute are eligible to be members.
