Drunk and Disorderly

The following persons were fined for being drunk and disorderly on the dates and at the places name:

July 10, Thomas Hall, miner, Denaby, 7/6 and costs; Beatrice O’Brien, married, Denaby 5/– and costs; George all right, miner, Thurnscoe 5/– and costs; Marie Mary and Froggatt, widow, Goldthorpe 5/– and costs

July 13 William Foster, miner, Denaby 5/– and costs; Arthur Oades, labourer, Bolton on Dearne 5/– and costs; Robert Jones, miner, Conisbrough, 7/6 and costs; Joseph Kirby, miner, Barnburgh 5/– and costs; Patrick Kelly, filler, Conisbrough 5/– and costs.

July 14, Thomas Concannon and William Fudge, miner’s, of Goldthorpe 5/– and costs each.

July 24 John Kelly and Michael Turton at Conisbrough, 4/– each and costs and William Jones, at Denaby’s 2/6 and costs.

Obscene Language for using Obscene Language

Fines were imposed as follows:

July 15 Levi Finney and Frederick Dellow, miners, Goldthorpe 5/– and costs; George Whitall, trammer, Mexborough 5/– and costs;

July 17 J Davies and Richard Milliership, miners, new Conisbrough, 5/– and costs.

Abusive and Violent Language

George Oliver and Robert Marsden, miners of New Conisbrough, each 55/– and costs for using abusive language on July 13 and Mary and Froggatt, a widow, of Goldthorpe, 5/– and costs for a similar offence on July 16; William Henry Ward of Denaby was fined 5/– and costs for using violent language on July 15.
