Shipments for March

The official return of the coal received at Hull during March again reveals a marked increase on the corresponding period of last year, the respective figures being 397,062 and 242,320 tons.

Denaby and Cadeby collieries again head the list with 42,671 tons, but Brodsworth, Bullcroft, Hickleton and Yorkshire Main, which are now grouped together, are credited with 68,519 tons, which is nearly treble the amount dispatched in March 1921.
