A party was held at the home of Mrs. H. Brookes at 28, Harlington Road, Mexborough, last Thursday to celebrate the 83rd birthday of Mrs. Florence Gregory, of 28, Rossington Street, Denaby. All the ladies in the picture are members of the Lynnette Chappell Choir, which was founded in 1937.
