The Police Station Begun.
The erection of a new police station, sanctioned by the quarter sessions some time ago, was begun last week.
The site faces the gates of the Castle, leading out into the town street, and the building will thus occupy a central position.
The work is being done by Mr Neale, of Rotherham, and will cost about £1300.
