A Conisborough Nuisance.

“This woman is a nuisance to the town; she has been here several times before, and we would like to get rid of her,” declared P.c. Driver, at, Doncaster, on Tuesday, when giving evidence against Margaret Walker, of Conisborough, who was summoned for being drunk and disorderly.

Supt Minty said defendant had been convicted on 32 previous occasions for similar offences, and the magistrates Fined her 20s.

Clara Gill, a housekeeper, of Mexborough, who was summoned for the use of obscene language and had 30 previous convictions was fined 40s.

For being drunk and disorderly, the following were fined:

Herbert Baxendale, miner of Denaby, 20s

William Annables, miner, of Swinton, 9s.;

Chas. Henry Thomson a miner, of Mexborough. 12s.;

Ralph Atkinson, a miner of Thurnscoe. 12s.;

Stephen Stanton, a bookmaker, of Bolton, 125.;

Frederick Jessa, miner of Bolton. 9s.;

Walter Redfern. Miner,  of Wert Melton. 12s

The following were fined for using obscene language:

Sidney Dawson, a miner of Merborough, 93.

Mera Corliss, married woman of Denaby.,12s.

The following were lined for indecent conduct:

William Kitchen, miner, of Wath 20s

John Rigby, miner, of Conisborough, 20s.;

Llewellyn Roberts, a miner, of Conisborough. Harry Chapman, a haulage hand, of Conisbrough 20s.;

J Clews. a pony driver. of Bolton 20s
