A Conisborough “Parade.”

Summoned at Doncaster on Tuesday, Ernest Rhodes, George Bedford. Charles Webster and Cyril Lawson, all of Ellington, were fined 15s. for obstructing the footpath at Conisborough.

P.c. Lund stated that Low Road, Conisborough, was used as a parade on, Sunday nights by young people, from Edlington, Conisborough, Denaby and Mexborough.

He had previously cautioned the defendants that night. Witness and another officer were detailed specially for that duty as a result of complaints. They had received a number of complaints of women having their shins knocked by youths acting about.

They were a perfect nuisance and thought they could do just as they liked.
