A Conisbro’ Inebriate.
A Wheelbarrow Requisitioned.

Joseph Thompson, labourer, of Conisbro’, was charged with having been drunk on the highway at that place on the 16th inst.
Police-constable Leeson stated that at 9.40 p.m. on the day named he found the defendant on the high road in Church street very drunk. He wheeled the defendant to his home in a wheelbarrow. (Laughter.)
Superintendent Sykes stated that during the past twelve months the defendant had been behaving much better than previously.
Defendant did not appear, and Police-sergeant Oatescraft said he had asked to be excused from attendance at the Court that day.
A fine of 5s. and 10s. costs was imposed.
