For a breach of the dog act, by possessing a dog without the requisite colour, George Bigland, a Denaby miner, had to pay 10/– and costs.
“I had one once, but I took it off,” said Bigland mournfully to PC Lundy, when the man in the blue text him with the breach of the law.
