A Denaby Dog Owner Fined
Walter Perkins, miner, of Denaby, was summoned for having allowed his dog to be at large when ineffectually muzzled on the 2Ist August.
A boy stated that the dog bit him on the leg and he had to go a doctor and have it attended to.
Defendant-: What did you tease the dog for?
Witness : I did not do so.
Defendant said he had bought eight muzzles for the dog.
P.c. Midgley said when he saw the dog it was ineffectually muzzled.
The lad had been bitten very badly across the foot.
A fine of 1s. and costs was imposed, the costs amounting to 17s
