A Denaby Presentation
Major J. Leslie, D.S.O., M.C., managing director of the Yorkshire Amalgamated Collieries Ltd., presenting at Denaby last Saturday, to Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Harrison, a silver tray, cheque, and dressing case, on behalf of the directors, staff and workmen of the Denaby, Cadeby, and Maltby Collieries. Mr. Harrison, who has accepted an appointment in Spain, was general manager of these collieries.
On the right is Mr. Herbert Smith, President of the Miners’ Federation of Great Britain, who made a presentation on behalf of the Denaby and Cadeby Coal Carting Committee.
