A Great Leader
The letter from the Archbishop of York to Mrs Kaye, the recently retired Mistress of the Denaby Church of England School, is thoroughly characteristic of this man of large heart, great sympathies and matchless tact and judgement.
No man was more fit of the great responsibility at present born by Doctor Lang. He is a consummate general of forces. No detail of his organisation escapes him.
So soon as his attention was called to the case of Mrs Kaye, his instinct prompted him to acknowledge in the beautiful phraseology he naturally employs, the faithful and valuable service rendered to the Church by that lady in the training of Church children.
