A Loving Couple
Henry Roach and Mary Roach Denaby were charged with drunkenness at Denaby on 10 August.
Police Constable Kendall stated that on the 10th inst at about a 11:45 at night, he heard a disturbance at Cliff View Denaby, and on proceeding to the spot saw the two defendants drunk in the highway.
They were fighting and creating a disturbance. He had to threaten to lock the male defendant up before he would go home. The female defendant afterwards came out again and threw a number of bricks at her husband, finishing up the attack by attempting to thrash him with a close prop
Fined 3 shillings and costs each.
