A Denaby miner named Rudolph Summerscales was fined 5/– and costs for not having his dog, a white bull terrier, under control at night time.
George Wathey, another Denaby miner, for keeping a dog without a licence was ordered to pay 12/6 inclusive when told by PC Suker he would be reported he said, “You can please your – – – self. I shall go down the line.”
