Abusive Language at Conisboro’.

Arthur Sturgess, miner and Albert Morton, labourer, both of Conisboro, were summoned for using abusive language at Conisboro’, on the 20th May.

P.-c. Thompson stated that he was on duty at Conisboro’ when he heard a disturbance taking place near the Red Lion Hotel, Conisboro. He proceeded there, and found both defendants challenging each other to fight. He told them they would be reported.

Each defendant was ordered to pay costs of the hearing of the case, 10s. ,

Rosa Mills, a single woman, of Coniaboro’, was fined 10s. and costs for having used obscene language at Conisboro’ on the 20th May.
