Accident at Conisbro’ Saw Mills.

September 1899

Sheffield Independent – Monday 11 September 1899

Accident at Conisbro’ Saw Mills.

Mr. H. Wilson, of Conisbro’, has met with a very unfortunate accident while engaged at his saw mills.

It appears that owing to the absence of three or four of his workmen Mr. Wilson went to the works to give personal assistance, and that while helping one of the sawyers one hand slipped near the machinery, with the result that two or three of his fingers were instantly taken off.

Much sympathy is expressed towards the sufferer.
