Accident at Denaby Main Colliery.

Yesterday morning, about half-past ten, a serious accident befel a collier named Henry Oldfield, living at Denaby Main, whilst following his employment the above-named pit.

The accident occurred in the Montagu plane, where a fall of coal caught the man and severely injured his spine.

He was taken out on a stretcher and conveyed home, where he lies in critical state.
