Accident in Fog

In the fog on Wednesday visibility at Denaby was reduced to 3 yards. During the morning a Yorkshire Traction Company bus, driven by George H Caldwell of Wath on Dearne, skidded owing to the slippery nature of the road and collided with some timber hanging over the rear of a timber lorry being driven just past the Northcliffe club by Richard Taylor, of Halfpenny Lane, Knaresborough.

The radiator of the bus was dented at the top, but fortunately there were only three passengers in the vehicle and none was hurt.

They continued their journey on another bus.
