Tried to Jump Clear of Runaway Cart.

Attempting to jump clear of his cart when his horse was running away at Conisborough, yesterday, Mr. H. Humphries, of Church Street, Conisborough, caught his foot in the reins.

He was thrown to the ground, the wheels of the cart passing over his body.

He lies in the Doncaster Infirmary in a serious condition.

Accident at Cadeby Main

As the result of an accident at Cadeby Main Colliery, yesterday, John William Davis, a collier, of Don View, Conisborough, was admitted to the Fullerton Hospital, Denaby Main, with severe head injuries.

Fractured Leg at Football

George Roberts, of Conanby, Conisborough, is detained in the Fullerton Hospital, Denaby Main, having fractured a leg when playing his first game of football with Denaby C.L.B. against Denaby P.M. in a “friendly” yesterday. Roberts collided with opponent.
