Mrs Linforth (64) Highfield Road Conisborough, and a lucky escape from serious injury on Friday. Mrs Linforth attempted to board a trackless bus while it was in motion near the Denaby Empire on Friday, and she was dragged a few yards and received cuts and bruises about the feet and legs. After treatment she was allowed to go home.

In attempting to avoid some pedestrians who were walking in the middle of the road, Ernest Leonard (19), Spring Bank, Conisborough, who was riding a cycle at Clifton, jammed on his brakes on was thrown off his machine. He was admitted to the Doncaster infirmary suffering from a fractured shoulder.
