Private Adams, of 11 Station Road, Conisbrough, is now in the third Western hospital, Glamorgan, Wales.
Three of his toes have been amputated. His wife has visited him this week.
Private Adams had the honour of being a marksman, having gained the cross guns.
He was employed as a Baker at Hodgson´s and Hepworth´s, Doncaster, and was there held in very high esteem by fellow workers and employees.
Mrs Adams desires to thank all friends for kind enquiries and good wishes for a speedy recovery.
