Walked around Cape Town, a city full of Africans; wondering what it was like in apartheid times

Ate lunch in an hotel near the waterfront and began to appreciate how cheap food and drink were (about 50%)

The waterfront was a lively, fascinating place. Viewed some dolphins in the water.

Took a red bus tour and amongst other things heard about District 6.

Met the other members of the trek in the evening and the adventure was about to begin
