Aiding Airlift.
Supervising the loading of supplies for the Berlin airlift is Pte. Maurice Miller (19), only son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Miller. 3. Sandal Rd., Conisbrough.
Serving with the R.A.S.C., Pte Miller joined the Army eight months ago. Shortly before Christmas he was posted to Germany, and after a short spell in Hanover he was sent to Fassburg on airlift duties.
In letters to his parents Pte. Miller has only mentioned that he is on airlift work, but says that he is comfortable in Germany.
Before joining the Army he was employed at Mexborough brickworks.
