Farm to R.A.F.
Arthur Long (20), eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. A Long of 10, Conan Road, Conisborough, has been in the Air Force for twelve months and has just come back from France after nine months of fighting.
He was born in Denaby and attended Conisborough Middle School.
Before joining up he worked on a farm at Hooton Roberts, and his parents sent him the “South Yorkshire Times” while he was in France.
