Keen Young Pilot

Dennis Rowe, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Rowe of the School House, Station Road, Conisbrough, is with the R.A.F. training to be a pilot.

Since leaving school he has been employed at the local collieries as timekeeper and on the screens, but he has for a long time been longing to join his brother, Eric, who has been with the R.A.F. for a considerable time.

His other brother, Ernest, escaped from Italy to Switzerland when Italy capitulated, and writes home to say that he is enjoying life there.
