Conisboro’ Cousins

Aircraftman Frederick Mills, only son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Mills, of 40, Wadworth Street, Denaby, joined the Royal Air Force last year, after having successfully obtained his teacher’s certificate at Crewe Training college.

He is an old boy of Mexborough Secondary School. He was well-known in sports circles at the Secondary School, and wishes to be remembered to his pals there and also to the Staff. He is a regular reader of the “Times.” His father is a member of the Denaby Home Guard.

His cousin, Radio Officer H. G. Burton, who is 26 years of age, is the son of the late Mr. H. Burton, of Conisborough, who was killed in the Great War.

Radio Officer Burton has been in the Merchant Service for about five years, and during that time has had exciting trips. He sends greetings to old school pals of the district. His mother is now the District Nurse at Mablethorpe, where she has been for fourteen years.
