Airman Promoted
Mrs. Watchorn, of 15, Pope Avenue, Conisbrough, has been informed that her husband, Flight-Sergt. Robert Cecil Watchorn (36), has been promoted to Warrant Officer in the R.A.F. Warrant Office.
Watchorn joined the R.A.F. in October, 1940, and was taken prisoner in August, 1941. He is a prisoner in Germany.
He previously worked at Kilner’s Glassworks, Conisbrough.
