Making a Name

L.A/c. Robert Wood is making quite a name for himself as an entertainer. He specialises in impersonations, his best being that of Stanley Holloway, and when he recently broadcast in the Forces programme, he was complimented by the B.B.C. on his performance.

He hopes to be on the air waves again in the very near future.

On leaving school he started work at Cadeby Colliery, but on reaching the age of 19 joined the R.A.F . He is now 25 years of age and married.

He is loud in his praises of life in the Air Force. He intends to stay in the Force after hostilities have ceased. Before marriage, he lived at 9, The Crescent, Conanby.
