Alleged Robberies at Bolton

Yesterday, at the Doncaster West Biding Police Court, Abel Feredey, pony driver at Denaby Main Colliery, was charged with having broken into the dwelling home of a collier at Bolton-on-Doarne, and stealing a suit of black clothes, hat, pair of boots, and an infant’s clothes, all the property of Frederick Richard Oldfield.

The prisoner, who formerly resided at Bolton-on-Dearne, was apprehended Middiesbro’ by Inspector Barrett, of Mevbro’, on Thursday.

It transpired that some of the goods were pawned ; a pair of trousers the prisoner had thrown away. The prisoner was remanded till the following day.
