Alleged Shopbreaking at Conisborough.

Thomas Burke, miner, Conisborough, Thomas Dyrne, soldier, James Patrick Hunt, ponydriver, Maltby, and Daniel Brammer, miner, Conisborough, were at Doncaster, yesterday, charged with breaking into the lock-up shop of Lucy Mary Bottrill, widow, 42, Wadsworth Street, New Conisborough, and stealing cigarettes, tea, cocoa, sweets, chocolate, etc., value £9 16s. 7d. on Friday night.

Brammer was further charged with damaging a cell rug.

The prisoners were committed for trial at Wakefield Quarter Sessions. For damaging the cell rug Brammer was fined 20s.
