Alleged Theft of a Watch at Conisborough
A man named Hickson Waterton, miner of Conisborough, was on Tuesday apprehended on a charge of stealing a coat and vest and a watch from 87, Firbeck Street, Conisborough, the property of George Parker, miner, of the same place.
The prisoner had been lodging with the prosecutor, and took advantage of his position to pilfer is landlord’s property. The watch was stolen from the bedroom, and the clothing from the living room. Prisoner then absconded and was apprehended on Tuesday at Redford by police constable Truman. On being brought before Mr R. Stockil he was remanded
