An Assault at Denaby.
For having assaulted John Watson, miner, at Denaby, on the 16th April, Frederick Bridges, also a miner, was yesterday at Rotherham ordered pay 20s. and costs.
Complainant, it was stated, had “chaffed” the defendant about a young woman with whom he was keeping company, and the defendant had lost his temper.
