Annual Party at Crookhill Hall
About 160 people attended the annual party of the patients at Crookhill Hall Receiving Home, a West Riding County Council tuberculosis hospital near Conisborough on Saturday.
Each of the 40 patients from all parts of the county were allowed two visitors, who were entertained to tea and afterwards a concert was given in the delightfully-decorated patients’ dining ball by a number of artists who had been brought by County Conn. Mellors, of Wombwell.
Among the visitors were a number former patients.
