This replayed league fixture was played at Denaby on Easter Monday morning, before a fair number of spectators.
Denaby winning the toss, chose to play with a strong wind. Burton made several smart saves for his side in the first few minutes. Accurate football was out of question, the home men gaining corner after corner, but they could not get past Burton for 20 minutes.
Sheldrake, with a fast ground shot, opening the scoring for the home team. Straight from the kick-off. They again attacked, and Burton brought some smart saves before Hardy shot a second goal. Before the interval further points were added by Davis, Whitehouse and Hardy
Half-time: Denaby 5 Bolton 0
Play ruled more even in the second half, Walton scoring after 5 min play.
Several corners were awarded Walton, which were nicely dropped by Fisher and eventually the visitors added to their score.
