Arrears at Denaby

Frank Oxley, a youth, of Denaby, a pony driver, was charged with being in arrears on a bastardy order granted to Charlotte Adamson, on the 29th August, 1903, by which he had to pay 2/- a week.

He was now in arrears to the amount of £2 1s., and said that he would not pay unless the complainant “kept herself to herself.” He further complained that she was going out with other men, and he would not pay if she did.

He was committed to Wakefield for a month in default of payment.
